Introduction

VidSpark is committed to protecting the safety and well-being of children. This Child Safety Policy outlines our practices, safeguards, and procedures designed to protect minors who may interact with our platform.

1. Age Restrictions

  • VidSpark is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
  • Users aged 13 to 17 require parental or guardian consent to use the app.
  • Accounts belonging to children under 13 will be deleted immediately upon discovery.

2. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

We take child safety concerns very seriously. If you encounter any content or behavior that endangers children, please report it immediately:

  • Users can flag inappropriate material directly within the application using the report feature.
  • Our team actively monitors reports and responds promptly to all child safety-related concerns.

3. Content Moderation

VidSpark maintains strict content moderation policies to protect children:

Zero Tolerance for CSAM

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. Any such content will be immediately removed from our platform.

Detection & Review

We implement both automated detection systems and manual review processes to identify and remove harmful content.

Law Enforcement Notification

Violations involving child exploitation result in immediate content removal, account termination, and notification to relevant law enforcement authorities.

4. Compliance with Child Protection Laws

VidSpark complies with all applicable child protection laws and regulations, including:

  • Google Play's Child Safety Standards
  • Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
  • Applicable jurisdictional child protection laws

We work in cooperation with relevant authorities and organizations including:

  • National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
  • Australian eSafety Commissioner
  • Local and international law enforcement authorities

5. Data Collection for Minors

VidSpark does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to:

  • 1. Delete all personal data associated with the account
  • 2. Terminate the account immediately
  • 3. Notify the parent or guardian if contact information is available
